How many time does he need to say that he is the leading man?? Just the way he incorporates that into his answers seems so deliberate.

profit sharing instead ( if there is any 😆 ) that's why DP is getting paid more than him

So what if he says he is the leading man? its a fact that he is and its not upto him to say what Deepika earns he can only talk about his earnings and thats what he has done in BM too to shortcut his payments and he gets only if the movie turns out to be a hit while the girls for BM only wanted their full payment or at least back then the reports suggested that.

I definitely think he and deepika are on the outs. Was he shading her for straining the budget? And it does sound like his role was reduced from the "i thought it was a anti-hero & heroine movie but then i read the script and there were three prominent parts", so sounds like the Deepika got Vicky Kaushal replaced and wanted an A-lister rumors are true.

Some people like to portray him as a more open minded, new wave actor but he's just as misogynistic and shallow as the rest of the men in BW. Actresses getting anything slightly more than them hurts their fragile ego. Gross.

This interview is sort of contradictory- if you are just a actor doing your job, why would you care to organize a meeting and break the ice? Wouldn't that be SLB or producers job??? Methinks, RS was apprehensive about doing a film with sasha, specially if befikre flops. And the whole leading man jaap was so extra... just proves there is behind the screen drama, that RS PRis trying to do damage control for. Otherwise why out of all ppl involved, is RS doing the interview?

Dunno what's gotten into veer? He needs to take it easy and lay off the back to back movies, hang with his family and come back with a better perspective

I mean, he was the one facing the brunt of the rumors of being insecure and SLB being upset with him. RS is always super calculated, the second he starts receiving flak he addresses it in a pretty obvious way. People are mad about him talking about his past hookups? "Oh casual relationships aren't for me, I don't understand tinder, I want to be a family man, etc." People are mad about the "Women never blow me away intellectually", immediately "woman are far superior to men" blah blah.
