Equality was not brought in so that every person involved is paid the same. The 'equality' debate was brought in for females when a female as popular as the male star bringing in the audience as much as him was paid less. Deepika is a much bigger star than Ranveer, brings in audience much more than he brings so that is why she deserves to be paid more, without her gender being a matter. She brings in more audience and hence should be paid accordingly.

There is nothing outrageous in this interview tbh but you can sense his attitude change! Doesn't sound so sane anymore. How hard is it to say- Deepika is more popular and she deserves to be paid more! Running around the question doesn't say much about him.

Woah. He did say leading man a lot and he is coming across very insecure. His answer to Deepika getting paid more was so douchey! Like she's your senior and a lot more successful, she should be making more than you! If he thinks he's taking one for the team by getting paid less than Deepika then he's being delusional... No way does he deserve to be paid more than her.

After reading this interview, I wouldn't be surprised if all the rumours around Padmavati were true and even DP-RS are going through a rough patch. Sad because I really liked him during DDD times.

Ranveer has an author backed role, itna kam na samjho usko 😆 This is not going to be another Kashi Mastani, unlike Deepu Ranveer has a very spot on dialogue delivery, and can take up nuances better.

Bet laga lo, Kachcha toh nahi but Ranveer is going to come out slightly better than Shahid! Khilji is so much more complex than Ratan, hence ran will have so much more material to work on.
