Heartbreak is also hardly a first-world problem...everyone experiences it and feels it the same way...money doesn't make rejection or lack of fulfillment in life disappear. You can have a private jet, but if you don't have someone to whom you can reveal the real you and share your personality with, the feeling of loneliness in a first world country will be no easier to bear and learn to overcome than in a third world country. The movie is about universal emotions of heartbreak and companionship...that it is set in the lives of the rich and young is just a plot contrivance, not the core of the story.
