In the recent "intolerant years" a group of students put up slogans against CRPF officers, hail a terrorist as a martyr, talk of Bharat ki Barbadi; and the chief culprit is travelling to various places and still creating ruckus..nothing beyond an FIR happened..try this in another country and let's see the steps taken by "tolerant" governments.. The BW brigade first talks of culture-exchange, then questions the very intention of the Army, makes excuses for why artists across the border "might not have made statemnts" and finally now has come to the root cause of the outrage --- Money.. the fact that they sit in their homes ans make all these statements with no repercussions beyond internet trolling speaks volumes of the "intolerance"..

Why cant he criticize the PM? AFAIK every citizen of India has the right to do so without being abusive and he was doing just that. I am not aware of the Google ban you're talking about, tried searching online too, couldn't find anything.

And if you feel ours is a completely tolerant country, then you are well within your right to do so. But my opinion is mine. Let's agree to disagree.

Yeh sab funde academic hai...No one has hijacked a plane or carried out a heinous 9/11 & 26/11 kind of act by protesting or tearing posters...MNS is a political party and they are bound to do protest ...govt will provide support to insulate this...this is perfectly democratic.

Focus on Rootcause...the current situation is because of Uri attack...orchestra by HS & gang...who are professional mass killers...and the govt that gives shelter to these Terrorist has gone ahead and banned Indian movies & TV...instead of acting on Terror.

Yesterday it became apparent that FK & gang will not condemn or contest the govt line because they support the belief of the govt as it is their personal conviction

It will be nothing short of blasphemy on KJo's part to project such faces on screen , who support and believe in language of terror.

#RE-SHOOT ADHM

#CONDEMN TERROR AND TERROR SUPPORTERS...NOT MNS...RESHOOTING DOES NOT LEAD TO MASS MURDER

You have a problem with how your money is spent and yet have no problems deciding how KJo spends his money? And if MNS wouldnt have created trouble there would be no money spent on protection at all. So blame the MNS and not the producers for your money being spent on it.

@ ponymo : no dear I do not think ours is a perfectly tolerant country..no country is.. there are groups espousing intolerance everywhere in each and every country..i am one of those standing against random PILS against FB statements, those trying to curtail FOE of their family members and partaking in social evils too.. but to be frank, after the JNU incident, my viewpoint has changed regarding people's perception of FoE.. what happened there is not FoE.. and I believe in reactions caused by actions..i do not accept hooliganism of MNS either..i do not believe in bans..but the fact remains that the movie is NOT banned.. the government is as against the fear tactics of MNS as the common man is.. and living in Mumbai for over 2 decades, I know for sure, more actions have been taken against these fear tactics of SS and MNS in the past couple years than those before.. I remember there was a curfew when Bal Thakrey' s wife died back when i was in school.. I dont see that now..the BJP seems to be a soft target coz of its ideology but the fact remains that the ruling govt has been looking out for itself even before.. the 'intolerance' brigade which wants us to believe that the country SUDDENLY became so is creating a false picture.. politicians will remain scum of earth and so will the BW..their hypocrisy rivals each other..but I see an administrative change, for good, brought by the PM which is being nullified with rumours and misinterpretative messages about 'intolerance'..
Am sorry if u feel am targetting u in any way..am not..ur kind statemnt about agreeing to disagree gave me a chance to give words to my changing emotions regarding the political climate we are made to believe..thank you..

I dont intend to spend my money on any thing remotely connected with Terrorism

If people like Kjo or whosoever make wrong choice...they have to pay for it...have no intention to subsidize.

MNS stand is against Terrorism support...and I am with them...you can make you choice

P.S - stick to the subject...its not about me...if you have nothing on the subject ...move on.

Whether KJo has made the wrong choice its upto the GOI and police to investigate and decide on it. If you have a problem you should file a police complaint and let them investigate instead of guessing things. If MNS had a stand against terrorism they would campaign to get the weapons the Indian Army uses upgraded or made sure the soldiers got bullet proof vests which has been a pending demand for years. Instead you are supporting the MNS on activities which makes government waste valuable resources on them.

I am very much on the subject. If the heat is too much for you you may move on.
