That's just to place the movie on a pedestal just *to make fun* of it later if & when it doesn't reach the *hype* --- & one will see such claims usually or mostly by the *rivals* --- - *😛*

otherwise shivaay as a product is *mass friendly* unless it's all shine & no substance -- !!!!

Yeah, that was the original marketing strategy, perhaps because the first trailer was released very early.

Actor Ajay Devgn who is gearing up for the release of his long-awaited directorial venture 'Shivaay' has been going all out about promoting it.
In a Facebook live chat with Times of India Entertainment Editor - Online, Rohit Khilnani, the actor opened up about his inspiration for the film, his thought on the recent controversy about Pakistani artists and the newly released trailer of 'Dangal'.

Speaking about the film, Ajay said, "Shivaay is an emotional film about the relationship between a parent and child and how they react in situations. It explores the extent to which a parent can go for his child."

Apart from Ajay, the film also stars Sayyeshaa Saigal, Erika Kaar, Vir Das and Girish Karnad.

Mumbai: Actor-filmmaker Ajay Devgn feels his forthcoming directorial venture Shivaay will inspire

Ajay's Shivaay has associated with Sonic's TV show Shiva and the actor is sure that the film will get a good response from children.

"Shivaay and Shiva have the same value system and mind set, both love their families and friends and destroy evil to restore balance in society. I'm sure kids will be inspired by both the characters and love Shivaay as much as they love Shiva," Ajay said in a statement.

The father of two has acted in, directed and co-produced Shivaay. The film, which is slated to release on October 28 around the occasion of Diwali, will clash at the box office with filmmaker Karan Johar's Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, which is currently facing problems for featuring Pakistan actor Fawad Khan.

Apart from Ajay, the film also stars Sayyeshaa Saigal, Erika Kaar, Vir Das and Girish Karnad.
