Why did Akshay take Canadian citizenship?

Unfortunately India do not allow dual citizenship and in any dire sutuation Akshay has to run to Canadian embassy . It's all about sizing down the queues for Indian high commission services. I think it's fair .

According to IF dictionary it's very unpatriotic...country is above everything, so he is indeed greedy😡. 😃

I think his intention was to teach patriotism to both Indians and Pakistanis. If he had Indian citizenship then Pakistanis would have bashed him and viceversa. So better go for neutral country.

Funny when people ask these ridiculous question. If I was him I would to do the samething seeing my kids future and security. And he had only one choice and I am proud he did that.

Yes, he can afford a luxury life in India but safety ka kohi guarantee nahin specially for kids.
