LGBT community issues are fundamental in communities all over the world. Even in "liberal national" like people think here, U.S. just declared it legal last year. From the comments of some people here ,something has been in back of my mind. Entertainment industry is a portal which open doors , so my question , Should not Bollywood shoulder a responsibility of opening main LGBT character more often in main front? I mean Fawad's character I guess was little bit of start in a mainstream, but providing how well the character was received, is not it time for Bollywood to open door to more conversation? Should not they make more progress as they go ahead.

One thing that is really irks me is the treatment of characters of Transgender community.I do not like the stereotype they are stuck in this box. They are people too. They have right to freely pursue other professions, education and so much more as much as. Sorry, got a little bit emotional watching a documentary on them right now.

No. K&S was very daring. I dont think Indian masses would agree with the issue.
You should read how some of our ministers talk about the LBGT communities👎🏼

IT seems so ,even the forum does not spare. Ohh, not just not them, the right wing here are no better, esp. with discriminating bathroom laws. Ohh, the rise of the murder rate of transgender, it is abs heartbreaking.

K&S was subtle so it worked. And I'm glad it did.
But if Bollywood really emphasizes on the LGBT issues, the movie will either flop (too artsy) or it will be banned. (against our culture 🤔).

It would only work in classes and definitely not masses. So, no. Unless, the film-maker and actor enjoy being hounded by political parties.
