AB jr was definitely not mediocre.He was outstanding in Guru , KANK and Yuva. He was, one, lazy and two, unlucky.

Bebo had a series of flops but she has always had a star quality about her than AB lacks.Had he worked hard on his look and lobbied for roles more I think he had it in him to do better.Too rich to care perhaps.

His interviews are full of *crap* --- Like u said having a preference is one thing but going out of the way to put down the commercial aspect of the industry isn't going to so him any good esp when many commercial movies keep the money flowing --- *good riddance* to Mirzya ---- time he learns a thing or two about BW than parroting away HW directors & actors to sound oh-so-different-&--intellectual----- !!!

On the bright side, maybe lesson well learnt. You cannot survive only on trying to be intellectually driven. They're all the same, after these 1-2 movies he's already signed, he will get down to commercial cinema as well. Success kisko nahi chahiye?

Yes, and AB Jr did give hit films and had a lot of fans around 2004 to 2007. Films like Drona, however, did the damage.
