UD: depends from family to family.. If someone is looking for a lavish type wedding tou there can be engagement, nikah, mehndi+dholki, mayon, wedding and Valima

If things are to be kept simple

Tou Nikah, Mehndi, shadi and Valima

Nikah being optional in both cases cuz some prefer to have nikah the same day of wedding

This shows the shallowness of the script. If its so easy to change the nationalities of the principal characters in an already made film than what depth do u expect? ..

why on earth were they pakistani in the first place? .. Just like that? and muslims? just like that? ..

urgh i have had discussions on this before too but i am just surprised that what depth will such characters have if you can place them in any part of the world and it wont matter ..

Indians and pakistanis are not convertibles for God Sake! and Lucknow and lahore? .. ar ethey kidding? have they lost thier mind? .. As a lahori i find it abouletely horrendous . Lahore and lucknow are in NO ways similar!

In a punjabi wedding, we have Sagan ceremony which is generally done 1-2 days prior to wedding. Something like that?

And simple mein bhi nikah pehle fir mehandi😲.. what is shadi then?

We have mehandi in which the guy doesnt see the girl till the wedding😆

No idea what Sagan ceremony is😆

Mayo is when the girl is applied uptan on her face by the family members.. Traditionally, the girl was supposed to go into lockdown post mayon, like no stepping out of the house.. Of course doesn't happen now but the function is there for those who want it😆

The dress code for this is anything in yellow
