urgh i have had discussions on this before too but i am just surprised that what depth will such characters have if you can place them in any part of the world and it wont matter ..

Indians and pakistanis are not convertibles for God Sake! and Lucknow and lahore? .. ar ethey kidding? have they lost thier mind? .. As a lahori i find it abouletely horrendous . Lahore and lucknow are in NO ways similar!

UD: depends from family to family.. If someone is looking for a lavish type wedding tou there can be engagement, nikah, mehndi+dholki, mayon, wedding and Valima

If things are to be kept simple

Tou Nikah, Mehndi, shadi and Valima

Nikah being optional in both cases cuz some prefer to have nikah the same day of wedding

Vidai doesnt happen on the same day as nikah? We have nikah.. reception..and vidai same evening..
