Said this before too, Raheel is popular in Pakistan. You keep the "bad terrorists" on the low and divert attention to fav thing ever Kashmir..viola best. Nawaz or tbh any political person whoever honest won't have any chance ever. There is a reason why there political map is so fractured. With US beginning to tighten the fund's supply, Raheel and Pak's reins are in China's hands. We have to see how far China allows them to play, it will not allow Pak to sabotage CEPC especially with India reviving the Chabahar port. It will do anything to avert International sanction on Pak or war or declaration of Pak as Terrorist sponsoring state and for that to happen, the violence has to reduce.
War is out, coup is horrible for Pakistan's economy , if this continues they would have to control Raheel especially if Modi persists with aggressive line which risks many things for China. It won't want that, it will try to derail india while controlling Pakistan.

My bet is on China...
