What are you saying? Everybody keeps raving what a great actor he is what a perfectionist he is...

To answer TM's question I think audience, director, actors all are responsible for the prevalence of overacting in BW

Many actors overact bcz they lack natural talent like Aishwarya and she keep getting good projects 😕
and many directors let them bcz they don't know how to direct 😕

The art of subtlety is lost in BW

on this forum Some handful actors acting considered good does not really matter how they act and what kind of movie they does.

I was actually talking about outside this forum😆 As in people around me.. People in this forum, me included are heavily biased with their likes and dislikes for a particular person and so I don't really take the opinions expressed here seriously

Almost all of them. That's the reason I am not a fan of any BW actor's acting. Movie achchi lagti hai toh taali deti hoon, buri lagti hai toh gaali.

Donno about others but I judge an actor only by how beautifully he carries off a simple, slice of life role.

That's why I like Ranbir. Loved him in WUS and Rocket Singh for how credible he was as Sid and Harpreet Singh.

THANK YOU!!!!!!! 👏👏

People are so awed by Irfan Khan for some reason when is the SAME in EVERY friggin movie be it Piku, Lunchbox, Amazing Spiderman or Jurassic Park. A total pakao actor.

And then there is Tabu...seriously Urmila was a miles better actress than her yet so under appreciated.

To add, do you think the media glare on actors has made the extrovert personality more desirable in this industry than an ambivert/introvert?

Do introverted actors suffer? They get called boring, dry etc.
