To add, do you think the media glare on actors has made the extrovert personality more desirable in this industry than an ambivert/introvert?

Do introverted actors suffer? They get called boring, dry etc.

Yes they do. Fawad is called boring because of it unlike Ranveer or varun who are more fun

Yes they do suffer. Actors who are extrovert and do weird bullshits, are called genuine- for instance Salman, SRK, Ranveer.

And those who are comparatively restrained are known as fake and reharsed and boring. Like Amir and RK.

BW is heavily biased towards extroverts.

YES YES YES! If you are not driving home your emotions with a sledgehammer then in Bollywood you are not considered a good actor.

Loud acting and over-acting is actually very distinguishable if you look closely, but people often tend to overlap the two. Kajol's character in K3G was loud, yet it was wonderfully acted, Kareena however, was both loud and over-the-top. Some of it, totally unnecessary according to me.

I feel as if Hritik is one actor who overacts almost always. As much as I try to appreciate him, I just can't get past the overacting. The only movie I felt was actually good acting was JA where ironically he is supposed to be a loud, strong character. KMG is so hugely overrated for me. Look at him, Farhan and Abhay in ZNMD. Farhan and Abhay are so subtle, yet have a more powerful impact.

I feel Mr. Naseeruddin Shah/RK/Irfaan are some of the most natural actors out there, but you're right in the sense that, because of their off screen subdued persona, people find them boring. In this industry, you definitely need a voice to survive, which is crazy, since your work should speak first.

True

But I don't mind hamming either, some of the most charming actors are great hams - as long as they have great screen presence and the ability to engage the viewers
