It was made into a movie in BW, Gumnaam in 1965, not so good IMO

1945 HW version is really reaally good

Dangerous Liasons set in 1781 Paris (Les Liaisons dangereuses is the original), I've only watched the HW movie not read the book

'Cruel Intentions' set in modern day USA is it's modern day version, it's all about sexual manipulation, sleazy people preying on the weak... This would make a good movie but the sleaziness and cheapness should kept in check

p.s. Wenever a book is adapted into movie/show, it is tarnished so makers should never adapt books :P

The sunflower by Richard paul evans.. bollywood likes romance and yeh book has good romance with backdrop of a missionary in Peru!
yeh movie ka bollywood adaption woukd be worth watching..

'A case of exploding mangoes' written by M. Hanif on the assassination of Zia ul Haq! Its one hell of a book and I couldnt read anything else for a month, after finishing it
