Sister of My Heart..by Chitra Bannerjee Divakaruni...its perfect for a BW movie with loads of romance, melodrama and family sentimental value

When I first read it, I wanted to make it into a film right away. 😆

My all time favorite English novels, Pride and Prejudice and Little Women, have already been made into several versions by BBC or HW... so I dont want BW to make anymore versions.

Bride and Prejudice was such a bad adaptation.

Oh Yes, the John Grisham legal thrillers would be good I think, if adapted in BW versions

Fictional love story books that are famous and yet not converted into a movie. Loved Twilight among all the movies based on books and would love to watch something similar.

we find more of mr hydes and less of dr jekylls now 😆

There was a weird movie based on Dr.Jekyll & Mr.Hyde with Sanjeev kumar.haven't watched it but heard about it.probably was a FLOP..

ditto lol I'm allergic to them too! I love books and movies based on books butcher the real story almost always!
anyway if made properly I'l love to see Annie's song as a movie.. It's my favorite book.

Has anybody here read 'Olivia and Jai' by Rebecca Ryman?

It's set in 1847 India, it's a tumultuous luv story between Olivia an American and Jai who is mixed race

It's written by an Indian woman Asha Bhanjdeo, Rebecca Ryman is her pen name... It would make a great HW movie, in India they could make it a TV series, a big budget series 😊
