I can't help but laugh at the this thread and it's comments. It makes no sense for Ranbir and Fawad fans to be fighting, last time I checked it's one film and they both would want the film to do well.

And honestly Ranbir does need a hit film, and Fawad is the current fav amongst many so it can only help. Please don't think I'm hating on Ranbir, I do like him and enjoy watching his films, but the boy has been hyped since before his debut, they went crazy promoting him, the same has been happening for Harshvardhan K.

RK is talented, no doubt, but he certainly isn't the best actor to ever come on our screens, with star kids if they have even an ounce of talent they are hyped like crazy because they know they got lucky and don't have to work as hard to sell him. Truth be told, Ranbir is still fun to watch on screen but at times he does sleep walk through his films, and is truthfully a pseudo-intellectual but oh well I have enjoyed his films in the past, and when given a chance he does perform. So I can't complain too much, though his last few films have been awful and he certainly doesn't deserve the paycheck he demands.

I absolutely adore Fawad, love him, but I do agree he has been hyped up thanks to KJo but the fact is when every other star-kid regardless of being talented is hyped up like crazy, why can't Fawad, when the guy is truly talented it. A star-kid regardless of a big banner will get huge exposure but a Fawad Khan from Pakistan or an outsider will not. The guy may be hyped but he has also proven he is worth it. When these people can go around saying Alia is the next Meryl Streep (*Dies laughing*) then why can't Fawad be given the extra push he needs to gain exposure in an industry that can't seem to see past star-kids and family.
