As for the thread question, it all depends on what role and how much screen time he is getting. His distinct look is appreciated, now all depends on how much role he has.

And this is not a movie where he is sharing screen with Sidharth but Ranbir, overshadow karna difficult hoga.

Its funny how what was supposed to be ADHM vs Shivaay has become Fawad vs Ranbir 😕

I dont even see why that should happen. Everybody knows RK & Anu are the leads. Fawad has an extended cameo & he'll deffo make a mark irrespective of his screentime.
But will he overshadow? Being a fan I'm saying the chances are bleak cuz its not a full-fledged supporting/parallel character (for example: PC completely overshadowed DP in Bajirao Mastani)

What's even there to fight is beyond me 😳
