Ofcourse you cannot understand as you have always said it is not physical aspect which attracts you or pleases your senses, it is rather personality which attracts you. And Katrina has a bland, boring personality so she will never appeal you. On top of that you are a heterosexual girl, so neither will you get aroused after watching Katrina's hips😆

Deepika is not a great actor, everyone knows that, apart blind lovers, but every fandom has blind fans of them. She is a decent actor, who has come a long way from the expressionless glam doll who spoke terrible hindi during hee early days.


Her winning awards over more deserving candidates may seem annoying but I remember one thing that Kangana said about commercial awards and it was very sensible from her, that she understood why people gave awards to popular stars over technical brilliance because of commercial aspects. People watch shows to see thier star get the award and popular star winning it means more trps, I don't approve of this type of trend but it is what it is. I also don't think she deserved the awards she won, but than again I would not go on calling her performance shite to prove my point, because they are not. It is just that year had better performances, 2013(Sonakshi, Nimrat Kaur), 2015(Kangana, Kalki, Anushka). Not her performance was bad.


Now will I call her overrated? It all depends on context. If someone calls her better or as good as say Vidya/Kangana/Priyanka (top 3 A-lister when it comes to acting IMO) than yes she is overrated by that person or section. That does not mean she is terrible but she is not as good as them. She will go down in history as one of the most popular actor ever. Her stardom is really huge.


About beauty? That is subjective, I don't find her Aish level of beauty, but she is a pretty girl. She is not ordinary looking, ordinary looking is likes of Parineeti, Konkona etc.


Dancing, yup I agree she is not really good, but I have never heard anyone calling her great dancer.


Also can you guys please not bring Katrina here, come on now. Katrina does not belong in a thread about acting. So spare her.

I find Vidya Overrated.

DP has indeed created a larger than life image for herself.

She promotes physical fitness,She promotes sports..she is on board of OGQ,started by Her Father and Geet Sethi.4 of 6 medals from last olympics was supported and funded by them.Sindhu has been with them since she was 14.Saina is also supported.I think badminton will see a boom especially among urban women.

Then there is her Mental health initiative,which is partnered By FaceBook.She is now the brand ambassador of Indian Psychiatric society.

Maharashtra Chief minister Dev Fadnavis launched Her foundation..

Last week the Parliament passed the mental heath bill..DP's initiative may have had little to do with the bill passing..but awareness does make issues relevant

She has stepped into HW at the right time.In the next 2/3 years she hopes to have a creer there,when it slows down here.People from sets of XXX speaking of her in glowing terms..It helps.

She has covered a lot of ground.We can see that.She earns in rupees and has signed only 1 HW film last year..and yet ,she is 10 highest paid in the world.Almost all her money comes from Ad revenues.They pay her,because they believe she sells.No other reason.

So yeah..overrated?l don't know..she has used all her chances,resources as best as is possible.
