Lol Priyanka did a song called "Aayega Maza Ab Barsaat Ka" in Andaaz and there's a part where she's literally shoving her chest in Akshay Kumar's face. Hardly anyone uses that against her, I agree with Zarine.

I would consider Deepika/Ranveer to be the most vulgar. I was quite disgusted by her and Ranveer in Ram Leela. The whole movie was basically a sex feast lol

RamLeela had smooches and intimacy but they never sold it in your face.

But HS3 all it sold was sex. The close up of the actresses and smooches was all over the place. It starts looking cheap and vulgar.

Another difference is that A listers during their career regardless of being at top or bottom agreed to do kisses and intimate scenes.

Now if we compare them with Zarine, Jacqueline, Daizy who earlier wanted to be cute and goody two shoes but when it didn't worked agreed with skin show. It makes the audience consider them less credible; that they did what they did not because the script demanded it but because they could not let the limelight fade and needed to be relevant hence grab anything that comes their way. Nothing wrong with it.

The A listers doesn't make it look cheap and vulgar but if you watch Zarine in that song or Surveen in the other song with Jay it looks like a make out video meant for likes and nothing else.

JWM was a clean movie. dont put it in the same category with RL or LAK. u can put Mera Naam Mary in this category.

On topic - I agree with Zarine and I hope she doesn't let it get to her. Carry on with what you think is best for you Zarine. This industry is really judgemental towards those that didn't make it big.

Emraan Hashmi was always mocked for the type of movies he does. He was given funny names in award shows just because his movies were promoted on bold scenes. He could never make it big because media labelled his movies as "not for families".

But now, you see Ranbir Ranveer Deepika, all these chummi chaaap people doing bold scenes in all their movies, kissing in all their movies, and it's being called classy and wow! we are excited . so hot . dashing . wow wow wow.

There is a thin line between sensuousness & vulgar!

and that line is determined by how it is directed & by the expressions of the actor!

Two songs from Hate Story 3 : Tujhe Apna banane & Tu Issaq mera. I'll compare it with Ang Laga de since everyone is calling ram leela vulgar too!

Compare the songs, see the shots taken - while the Hate story 3 songs have long shots of the leads writhing in bed/floor, the male lead groping around, and close up shots of the female leads bra/chest/ butt!

While Ang Laga De half the song is focused on the leads approaching each other,3-4th of the song they don't even touch each other. This is the director's plus point that he can create the sexual tension without the leads even touching- that is sensuousness.

The other thing is expressions. Practically speaking as an audience goer, we are usually not interested in the orgasmic faces of the actors! We'd rather have beautiful scenes which look all sexy, but NOT vulgar! po*n movies are there for the orgasmic faces & the groping & the more stuff. What do Alist actors do? Kissing, thoda caressing phir a little bare back and then all action inside the blanket lol they don't even show that much! Kissing is really common now so I'm sure that's not the problem!

PS- since I'm PC fan, I'm pretty sure somebody will bring out Andaaz like they brought out Maya Membsaab with BI- well I agree one song in that movie had pretty vulgar shots! But the answer remains the same PC was not an A lister then.

Zarine looks vulgar when she does such scenes, what is our fault in that?
When Jacky, Kat, DP or others do the same it does not look bad LOL

PC too has done such scenes in the beginning of her career and even then people called it vulgar nobody said hot.
