Salman's supporters attacking those ladies and defending their idols on twitter is proof that this rape controversy publicity campaign worked.

Everytime before release of his movie, he creates controversy so his fans defend him and support his movie all the way.

HR controversy or SRK controversy wasnt half as shocking as the rape comment and their fans dont react in the same way.

The very fact that he repeated the "joke" on the Kapil Sharma show proves that it was deliberate.

And to show his power and so called machoness to his fans, he didnt even apologize for the comment.
