But he is right.

BW is filled with hypocrites preying on the weak. (for that matter the world is)

Public is more powerful than any of the stars and the people watching Sultan could care less about his remarks.

Even the reporters present were chuckling when Salman made the comment.

So there is no hope.

It is the public making or breaking an actor.

Salman deliberately let loose that rape comparison ...he wanted to create controversy for his film, so it gets free publicity thru shouting shows on TV and twitter wars.

This was all pre-planned publicity gimmick as that guy said on the other Arnab show, dont remember his name but I think he was from the film industry and insisted that the rape comment was deliberate and planned.

And anyway they knew certain sections of his target audience would "enjoy" that joke and fully support it. The ones who actually commit those horrific crimes, the ones who molest, target women on the streets, on buses, everywhere else.

You have to give it to him... He calls all experts in his panel for discussion and does not allow them to speak at all... Weird these are the basics of any group discussion... He is an entertainer... Leave Salman even Modi can not fire him from Times Now... He is like the bread and butter for times now... I really like watching his discussions... Sabki dhajjiyan udata hai... Want him to interview Narendra Modi in his style not the one he has already done before... And if Modi is able to answer all the questions with calm, then definitely Modi is the man 😆

Entire BW is afraid of Salman now because currently he is enjoying superpowers due to political backing! He is immune from any kind of backlash thanks to support from ruling party.

Except for some ladies on the fringe of BW, nobody has the guts to say anything against this 🤬 because he can make or break careers, he can sabotage others' movies. Proof is right here right now as seen in MD/ Rustom clash.

Same kind of clout was enjoyed by Amitabh in the 70s when he had Congress support behind him as his mother and Indira Gandhi were close friends and he himself was pals with Sanjay and Rajeev.

Amitabh ruled the industry back then, he got away with a lot of bad things (not murder at least)

He used to ruin careers, he used to get director/editor to cut down scenes of other heros costarring with him. It was said back then that Vinod Khanna quit BW to go to the ashram as he was so sick of being sidelined by AB...it was obvious in Amar Akbar Anthony where VK's scenes were cut down drastically even after he shot for them, AB got them chopped at the editing table.

In that movie Ek Baar Phir, Suresh Oberoi did the role of a tharki superstar who was cutting other hero's roles and sleeping around with industry girls. That was totally based on AB.

AB faced downfall after a while, Salman will too.
