A thread to mourn dudwale's dud. 😆😆

Bajirao - Mastani's story wasn't sketched properly. Though as a overall movie, I liked BM. Screen play was brilliant.

Kashibai tops is for me. What a character & performance. 👍🏼

General forum verdict: BM is a masterpiece and the best film since sliced bread (because it released with DW)

I think even the biggest DP fans agree she was the weak link, not entirely her fault as SLB was more busy selecting the color of the curtain and its matching floor tiles.

On a first viewing I was not impressed with DP, On 2nd viewing, I felt she wasn't as bad. Just that she was competing with PC and RS, and these 2 were in their top form in BM. So she looked bad in comparison. As a stand alone performance, she had some moments like fight sequences, rest was okayish. Precisely her parroting those ishq blah blah. 😆 But DP looked gorgeous.

@bold - Yup. It's better than lot of BW movies.

it was definitely a masterpiece compared to the gobshite that was Dilwale.
