In a time where biopics and woman centric films are quite appreciated, wouldn't it be interesting to see this woman's struggle being brought to the silver screen.
Her life seems really interesting and she's already an icon, someone who left her mark.

She was on a hunger strike for 16 years to fight against the Armed Forces Act. She put an end to her hunger strike though the Act is still in place but she now wants to fight it by entering Politics.

I didn't know about her until some days ago but it's really heartwarming to see people still fighting with all they have for their beliefs.

I think Kangna would be perfect for such a role. Priyanka and Kareena would be good options too.

So, which personality's life would you like to be brought on screen? Someone that inspires: you be it with their achievements or struggles? Smeone that shocked you with their antics?

This is something I can totally see Kangy pulling off easily.
They have similar curly hair as well.

Indeed, her naturally curly hair would be a plus point too.

Hansal Mehta

Hansal Mehta

Hansal Mehta, known for his take on real-life characters, will reportedly make a film on India's Iron Lady' Irom Sharmila.

DNA India reports that the film will closely follow the Iron Lady's struggle over the years, who ended her 16-year hunger strike yesterday. She was force-fed through a nasal tube to keep her alive.

Mehta has worked on films like Shahid' and Aligarh' previously. He will be directing another biopic Simran', starring Kangna Ranaut.

Now I hope it'll materialize and that he'll share such a good rapport with Kangana on Simran that he'll cast her

Hansal is producing with a new director.

Given how Irom looks, these two actresses will fit the bill to bring the "Iron" avtar.

1. Kangana
2. Kalki

Yup forgot about Kalki. 😊 But I really hope Kangna will want to do this film. It's a really interesting topic and having a A list actress like Kangna or Priyanka will raise awareness on this issue.
I don't know if this Act is still relevanr or necessary if it has ever been, but at least putting this issue on the forefront of the map might make the government rethink its usefullness.
