Lucknow: Was he the one who inspired the fandom behind Shah Rukh Khan's 'Fan'? At least the colossal museum of SRK posters, photos and sketches on the walls of his house and his eccentric love for his idol pasted all over his car among other belongings he owns, do prove the point for Lucknow's Vishahrukh- as Vishal has christened himself over the years- that he is SRK's biggest fan. He calls his wife Tina, or Anjali. His son and daughter are Raj and Simran.

Having booked all four shows of the movie on the first day on Friday and making the theatre practically his home with his 'fan-full' family in tow, 41-year old Vishahrukh confesses to have been interviewed by those associated with the makers of the movie, trying to understand the process of being a huge fan, as he is.

Getting ready to be seated for the second show of 'Fan' on the first day of its release, he told TOI at a local multiplex: "I had several people associated with YRF visiting and calling me over the past several months getting to know the fandom around my God. But my passion towards SRK is not limited to his acting prowess or his performances alone. His humanity and nature has had me enamoured since 1988 when I first saw 'Fauji'."
While his home is full of SRK paraphernalia, his wholesale homoeopathy medicine outlet also bears witness to his extreme love. He claims that his Aliganj house in Lucknow with more than 23,000 photos of SRK has been recreated at a Mumbai studio for the movie.

In the run up to the film, the makers Yash Raj Films had produced several short documentaries of fans of different celebrities including Charlie Chaplin and Sachin Tendulkar from around the country. It featured Vishahrukh as SRK's biggest fan. He was named 'Lucknow Ka SRK' in the video.
