And no offense but perhaps it's the directors that are chasing him. I mean that could be a possibility...right? Maybe it's Aditya that wants him in his next project or SLB that wants him in his next. And Shahrukh has always talked about how he needs to first and foremost feel comfortable with the directors he's working with which is why he came on board for Anand's and Imtiaz's next after being in talks for quite a few months. So when that comfort is already there between him and Adi , why should he just reject a film that he's being offered if he infact happens to think it's a good project.

ETA: With regards to the number of films , he said it just last year before Dilwale even released that he wants to do more work. It doesn't mean he wants to do more work in the hope of something might work but because he just wants to do a lot more work. He has talked about how in the past few years he has just done one or two movies in a year and has been battling some injury or the other so he now wants to do more projects provided he likes them of course.

Agar SRK pe trust ki itni si bhi kami hoti usske films ko opening nehi milti.CE,HNY even Dilwale in a clash with BM and FAN got huge opening.Film dekhne ke baad trust ka kuch kaam nehi hai.FAN earned less not because of trust,that dark film got 19 crores opening.Its not easy.It didn't work well only because it was too dark,no songs,no romance,no heroine kind of things, also its budget was pretty huge.

For sure. But SRK never reads or asks for the script/narration when Adi/YC are involved (after DDLJ)..so most of the time he doesn't even know if it's a good project or not..he just does it because it's them. I don't think SRK will ever rbeject an Adi-directed film. He doesn't even know what Adi's film with him is about just that Adi asked him to keep dates so he did. 😕😆

Of course these guys can be/ and ARE chasing him too but I doubt SRK would give SLB time of day after Saawariya and Guzaarish vs BM. SLB has been chasing SRK since forever...he wanted SRK in BM too but SRK is only showing interest now.

For romance...it's boring because he has already done everything he could in this genre that BW writers are capable of writing & BW is capable of making right now. There is noting left to accomplish...mature love story is good, but how many mature love stories exist in BW? 😆

Most of the time they just say the actor is 40 because they don't look 20 anymore...and then behave the same way. 😆

No one is deluding anything.The thing is you lost the trust and I didn't and hence difference of opinion.No the pattern is not that.The pattern is he has worked with new set of directors like MAnish,Gauri,Imtiaz and Anand and now he is thinking of woring with SLB and Adi.More importantly he is working exactly like he likes to work.Nothing changed.He is not chasing love stories.Imtiaz's films are always about love and finding one's true self,thats it.Anand's film he is excited as its a dwarf film.About Adi,he only worked with Shah Rukh with huge gaps.And SLB ke saath wo jaane kabse baat karraha hai.Don't imply it to that as SLB is successful now so Shah Rukh is working with him.Aisa nehi karta wo,ye tum janti ho.

I think he signed HNY & CE around the same time..I dunno exact dates. He wanted to do hardcore masala films at the time and get a big hit and prove to people that he still has it in him. So he went for the biggest hardcore commercial director, Rohit, and Farah because they had had a very successful masala films collaboration before. He probably thought at least 1 will work for sure..and HNY on paper was a fun idea. Let's not get into the execution. 😆 After the Shirish slapping incident the movie was a way to say sorry & get a potential hit. Farah's MHN & OSO are better than anything RS has made IMHO..it was basically supposed to be a mutually beneficial association as SRK needed big hits & Farah + family were basically outcasted from the industry minus SRK anyways. 😆

So, Nawaz was supposed to do Raees first..then he couldn't because of dates, so Farhan replaced him ...and it got pushed so much that Farhan could no longer do it and Nawaz came back. Actually, some of the delay happened because of SRK's injury on CE sets. A lot of things got pushed. Raees & Fan were offered first... Dilwale was in the pipelines afterwards..and SRK basically prioritized Raees last.. That's why I felt like he didn't want to do it. But yes he was excited after he started shooting. Now he doesn't seem to be.

It's simply easier to shift around your OWN film than go ask others to shift theirs around. There is no bad blood involved either. That's why BBD shifting would have been easiest. KJo is a friend. and would have understood. As for Dear Zindagi, my point was it doesn't need a big festive holiday release..so it could have more easily worked around another release date if need be. It could have still come in November, and Raees in Sept.

The rebel is because he doesn't want to announce dates in advance. But if the rest of the industry 'books' dates in advance, then he has to be prepared for the fact that dates he wants will be gone...and it is not right to come and then go ask everyone to change their plans because he is slow on the uptake. So, then be prepared for a clash...or pick a different date. Why keep asking others to bow down to your whims and fancies? There was a rumor that Raees team is suggesting some April-May holiday date to Kaabil makers.

Success / Hit ratio abhi Srk ki high rahegi till the time Data from 1988-1992 is not updated on BOI. Srk, Ajay, Akki all debut from 91 & 92, BOI is updating Data BACKWARDs, so wait for some time, all these figures will tumble when that data is updated.

Till then Salman will add up current big hits also, Success Ratio of Srk might not be achievable, but HITs will surely be Salman's ahead.

About FAN,

Do u know Dil Se did $ 2.30 M Business in 1998, look at that time & See the kind of film it was. Same Dark genre, different approach. This was also the case with FAN, overseas fans love to see him experiment with his characters, this time they weren't satisfied with his act.

In India we are use to that Romantic Raj Srk, show them him with that character & he will be loved again. CE was one example, he did Rahul in same way he did earlier masala hits, see the result, All Time Grosser biggest Srk hit.

For SLB...it's just talks anyways, it might not happen for a very long time kyunki SRK thankfully doesn't have 200 days for any SLB film & he will always pick AdiC first...hopefully discussion stage mein hi khatam hojaye SLB ki film. 😆 He said he was talking to SLB after RL too (for BM) 😆

OH lol..yeah I liked the SRK-Kajol parts (whatever little there was) and probably gushed with RR over it. 😆 But I didn't like the film overall much...I did like Dilwale more than HNY but that doesn't speak for much because HNY was so so bad. 😆 I was and am mainly annoyed with RS for Dilwale.
