Was Sultan's quality hyped?

Before ppl start bashing me, I am just questioning the perplexed BO performance I noticed

End of week 1

Sultan - 209 cr

BB - 185 cr

PK - 183 cr

Difference of 25 cr with Sultan in lead.

Comparison with PK may be unfair coz it came out during Christmas (most lucrative period for a movie). However, BB and Sultan came in during Eid. Why is Sultan struggling to reach 300 cr? Going by week 1, it should have surpassed PK or BB atleast. Both, PK at 340 and BB at 320, look out of reach now.

All these makes me believe that Sultan was a good movie but not a very impressive one. As FAN evidently disappointed many, audience were hungry for an entertainer in 2016 and Sultan happened.

PS: I didn't watch Sultan and not planning to watch either

Sultan is not as good as BB, none of Salman's movie are. simple.
had BB released in during the Aamir time, it would have broken the PK record too, that movie was that good.
Sultan was although best movie of Salman of this decade not named BB.

also FAN was meh, trying to be something but messed up kind of thing.

Sultan's story was weak compared to BB but Salman acted his best . It is one of his best movies ever

agree on FAN... it was good in several bits.. i guess the scenes were superstar was insulted in marriage party, by police officials in germany (i guess) etc didn't go well with audience
