In bollywood katrina kaif is considerd fair. But in the for example the kpop or jpop industry she would be considerd dark or tan. In hollywood to be considerd pale you also need to be extremly white. Even kareena wouldn't be seen as pale.

What is the definition of pale in bollywood or the middle east

I don't know what would be considered fair in abroad but for me Indian skin tone is the most beautiful - the dark skin, the dusky skin, the olive skin, the 'fair' light skin. Women of color, not completely white and with so many shades. It is so lovely!

Fair skin obsession is something that makes bollywood actresses with beautiful light/dark skin put on tons of powder/skin lightener or wathever it is called..

On topic yes Katrina/kareena are the ones considered as a fair skin actors.

How is she overhyped i hardly hear anyone saying she is among the most beautiful ladies of BW or Indian cinema.
She is called hot, well the amount of abdominal skin she shows. It is understandable.
