This issue died down until Salman decided to bring it from the dead by doing it all over again. I do not expect Salman to apologize. But this is something which happened today with Anushka on this show. Him acknowledging it or not will not change anything nor do I look forward to it. But letting it slide or acting oblivious is an individual preference. I know it seems like it achieves nothing but for others it gives them something keep things going.
Have you been around kids? They can be assholes at times. They keep doing things that they know will irk their parents or others. The more you tell them NO, the more stronger their asshole tendency. Its a game to them. Sometimes you have to just ignore that kid. They quietly sulk into their corners when no one cares about them anymore.
Salman is a 50 year old asshole kid. He will keep bringing his rape joke up because it is a game to him now. He gets kicks out of irking people. He is enjoying every second of offense.
Let me tell you only asshole kids can keep up with asshole kids. Sometimes its better to tap out and let the be.
