At the cost of sounding blasphemous, I dont think the lines in the show were aimed to make fun of rape. Salman's original comment does trivialize rape. And he is unashamed and unapologetic about it, which is despicable. But in this show, if anything, they are making fun of Salman's tendency of speaking rubbish and the media's tendency to scrutinize every single line a celeb has to say..

Quite honestly, although the show was in bad taste, I dont get the overreaction on this forum. And NO I am not a blind Salman fan and NO I am not insensitive about rape. But in my honest opinion, I think the way Anu is being bashed is a tad bit unfair. She was not laughing at the rape comment, she was laughing at Salman.

Nowadays every media outlet/ gossip forum has become like tumblr.
