50 yr old man had his dad already make an apology. Too much of a man child to take responsibility for his own actions. Karma comes back to everyone in different ways.

I m happy he is nt appologising. Ncw are so useles that they spend their time chasing a celebraty and nt even attending to the real issues . Everythng has become publicity issues these days. Media wastes their primetime for an imbecile comment 4 salman which has been retracted then and there and then one raped girl demands 10 crore from him for this comment and nw NCW making a giffari of themselves. Sorry state of affairs in our country.

People call him retard. slow. negative. villain, arrogant childish and what not and they expect him to apologize 😆 even for a moment I was why the hell he is not apologizing then I was like mehhh why we are even expoecting that from him. He is 50 yrs and has been like this you think he will really change

I really don't understand why such a big deal is being made about a retracted statement. He obviously realized that it probably wasn't the best analogy and retracted. An apology now is going to seemed forced. The immediate retraction is much more meaningful.

Now Salman isn't the first to use the word rape lightly and he won't be the last. I think we need to deal with the culture of using these types of words casually than attacking a person who immediately took back his words. He's probably upset at media who first decide to leave out parts of his remarks and than spend hours on end blasting him in the news. Then the NCW don't deal with larger, more imminent issues on hand and decide to go after Salman Khan instead (in between taking selfies). This doesn't happen in every situation where something similar has happened. I'd be pissed too if this happened to me.

All this overreaction just masks the actual issue of why we use this type of language. If the issue at hand was addressed rather than a personally attacking him, then I believe we would we actually be making some progress. Making this all about Salman really deviates the topic.

Now I'm a Salman fan but at the end of the day, he's just an actor. Why are news channels wasting hours and hours discussing him. Media gives him the attention and then in turn complain about his power. There are more important issues to discuss on the news than bollywood stars. Forums like this is for bollywood talk not national news stations.

He has so much power... dekho kaise forom pe roz matam hota hai...i wish some people actually took stand against the issue. Everyone is all talk

He did apologize during his iifa performance. He did the sorry gestures twice or thrice (holding ears, folding hands together bending down) I think this was an extra chorepgraphy added 😛

More power to him I guess. Ive been so hateful towards him but thanks to forum members, they keep making me fall harder for him. I love them all

Anyways it's disgusting that he has turned a slip of tongue into a strategy to promote his film. Salman never needed such tactics to promote a film so I wonder who is guiding him. Would have loved to see him apologize the week it happened, but day by day its losing its importance. Maybe SULTANs marketing team should comcentrate on Ali's directing and story telling skills, i'm pretty sure the movie will perform better then.

Because Salman is a star. Everyone is spending hours discussing because its a name that generate tons of revenue and profit for news channels and magazines beyond OUR imagination.

Everyone is running a business here to EARN MONEY.. they will disscuss salman as long as the issue fizzles out on its own. Arnab shouts on top of his lungs (poor man) because people get entertained by it and so they keep tuning back in. If he doesn't make his show spark fire, nobody will watch it .

Anyways, you nor I would understand the difficulty that a govt official faces, even at the level of a District Collector when his distt is swamped by a rioting mob, much less what the CM of a state faces. So atleast give the man some benefit of the doubt before calling him out as a criminal, as if your know how of the case and the facts is much more than the judiciary which passed the judgment.

I lived in Gujarat when Riots happened. I have seen it closely.

I remember in an interview with Rajasthan CM & MP's then CM, he asked both of them...

that I sent you letters & did phone calls for help. You guys did not even reply for 2 days. Both Rajasthan & MP had congress ruling CMs. And they stayed mum.

As neighbors they could have sent Police. But no.. baki ke nation ki koi jimmedari nahi. Bhale hi Gujarat jal raha tha. And they have nerve to question Modi.

2002 and till he was CM, not a single incident of communal violence. Till it happened last year under Anandiben.

It's the way he turned Gujarat around after earthquake in 2001 and riots in 2002. When he became CM, we were literally in dumps. From that to highest GDP & 24x7 electricity in every village. Beat that.

PS - I don't get why Modi had to be brought in every Salman topic. 🤔
