That's not Coke Studio, that's Nescafe Basement. Xulfi (from the bands EP and Call) created the show. He basically goes around to schools/colleges auditioning people then selects them for the season. Some of them end up being in more than one season. They then sing song covers and sometimes originals.

The song "Awari" (by Soch Band) from the movie Ek Villain was actually an original song from Nescafe Basement.

Atif's JalPari takes you to another trans world!! So many seasons and still its my most favourite. Also I listen to Garaj Baras with really high Volume while working out. Some of my favs (for those who are exploring it) not necessarily in order of preference:

Almost all those comments on YouTube are about Umair and his dancing, (although some of them are really funny, like the one where someone says Umair needs glucose. 😆)

But he was really enjoying that song and his energy was contagious. Everyone around him were having fun just watching him. Even QB was enjoying herself. If he stood stiff and sang, then these same people would criticize him for being expressionless. 😆
