2) Her staying on the show ensured that Sushant would remain in the good books of Ekta unlike Rajeev and few other actors who had been blacklisted and could not manage to return to the Ekta camp when their BW careers bombed. Rather than quit the show, she negotiated with Ekta for her role in PR as well as future roles. Sushant's professionalism with Ekta + her staying on ensured that he stayed in her good books, he even got roles from her later.

Forget the sacrifices man.. the emotional support she rendered him is a different thing. As Sushant himself said, when people all around him were telling him how tv actors fail in bw, Ankita had total faith in him.. you just have to watch the interview on the last day of PR shooting to see how much blind love and confidence she had in him.. Sushant isn't that close to his family.. Ankita was his biggest support system.. she was happy being in the shadows while he basked away to glory on the red carpet.. HIS successes were always more mportant to her.. she flaunted and celebrated them as her own.. and even Sushant accepted it that she had adjusted a lot to fit into his life in BW.

Each to his own.. but in my eyes.. it certainly was worth a lot..

^I'll jump in here since I was the one that was quoted. I personally don't know but Ankita said she supported him when he was broke. And even Sushant in the same has quoted the same plus more. I'm taking at face value that she sacrificed some of her own ambitions so he can follow his dream. She let go of some things so he can be where he is right now. I'm personally not invested in either one and never have. But I did root for him since he was the underdog. And my issue isn't the breakup. Ppl breakup all the time. Maybe he fell out of love or it wasn't working, whateffs! My issue is the whole show of how he's painted as the innocent boy that had to leave his GF b/c she was abusive, whiny, unloyal alcoholic. Why do the whole PR game then?

I know sushant from movies like kai po che and PK . Whatever few article i came across in this forum always filled with GF, house ,marriage etc. etc. So he just used it for his PR and promotion just like normally any rising star shows infront of other as dedicated husband , BF etc. etc. Indeed its awkward when he left her after so many years ,when she was with him in his struggling days.

lol if we search than there are loads of article on his relationship in this forum , if she is chudail abusive and revengeful etc. than just like many spurned lover she did not filled any case on him on the pretext of marriage.

everybody remembers what ankita has sacrificed for him except sushant.
