Ankita is a popular actress but she had nearly let go of her career & invested everything on SR. Now that he's getting big banners he took no time in dumping her. I agree with you in BW there is nothing like true love . Everyone is faking it but I guess its the men who actually cares less. When these women are in love they actually give up everything & start acting like doormats .. biggest eg was JW . So when the break up happens its the women who suffer more ... some cope up with the help of friends & family like JW did ... some act weird like Ankita is doing with all these cryptic massages & sexy pics & others who doesn't get dumped but survives with a cheating husband takes to drugs & toy boys to forget the pain. Its easy to say these girls are talented & will survive but as it is in BW a woman's career is very short while buddha heroes are easily romancing actresses young enough to be their daughter's . Where as will anyone accept Madhuri or Sridevi romancing Varun or Siddharth! They might get a few shows here & there but don't see them making to the top except for maybe DP who after getting jilted by RK shot to fame & how !..but age was by her side that time. Girls who are 30 or above how can you expect them to shine & be at the top no matter how talented or good looking they are . Fresh faces are coming up everyday & making their job even harder

Agree with you except that i was not thinking of them pursuing BW but rebuilding their careers on television where actresses have a longer shelf life ( sorry to use this term ) Both JW & AL held their own in their last serials on the small screen. Take the example of Sakshi Tanwar & Shweta Tiwari ..they continued to bag important roles for quite a while and viewers did not tire watching them

In my opinion TV has a bigger reach & command these days than cinema specially if the films are mediocre eg horrex. It is just that every one ..spot boys included come to tinsel town dreaming of acting as leads in a film. Also tv can be taxing workload. But for them it is definitely more remunerative.

I look forward to seeing both these actresses in some good serials soon ..their respective exes can keep trying their luck with their new equations.

TV is a bigger medium but here too Shweta Tiwari who's without doubt one of the most beautiful & talented actress & hasn't aged just got Parvarish & after that I didn't see her much . Its not like they are flooded with offers. Also Ankita charges somewhere near 1 lakh per episode ..if the producers get a fresh face who'll be charging much less don't think they will take her. These actresses will get work but its not that they will be in great demand or anything ...life becomes tough for them... just my opinion

Agree with you ..it is a tough life out there for all and tougher for the women.They need to be very cautious before hitching up with anyone.

I haven't followed these two. But I wouldn't call this a dig. Most people especially women go through a period of time after a break up where they inadvertently end up sharing such adages on social media, especially if the break up was of a long term relationship. If it was just a hook up/FWB situation/short term relationship, who cares. But this was really long so expect more of this to come. I don't think she's doing it maliciously. She's probably in a love-hate frame of mind right now.

Sushant has proven to be an ass. I think when someone makes that many sacrifices for you, you don't leave them and you certainty don't demean them and spread rumors about affairs and alcohol abuse. I much rather he split and that's it. But this whole PR game to maintain image but destroying hers is so low.

For Ankita, the best revenge is success. Let the tables turn. And when they do, she'll meet someone way better.

There was just one year gap between his quitting the show and his film's release . He din't have money for himself for a year also ? 😆😆😆 Was he working for free in PVR ?

Ankita continued in PR playing an old woman while Sushant left the show for his acting career. This was in 2011, at that time Sushant did not have any big films in hand. Ankita wanted to quit too, her heart was clearly not happy playing an old woman in the show, those who play elder roles in TV also usually get typecast into playing elder roles in the future. Plus she also wanted to do films. But she stayed on. Reason:

1) She made a lot of money from the show, and since there was no guarantee of when Sushant would start earning again (he wanted to go to New York for a film making course + he had no big films in hand at that point + breaking into BW requires a large amount of initial investment for PR, grooming etc.) she continued in the show so that there would be ready flow of income for both of them. At present it is very easy to say Sushant was out of work for only one year, big deal! But at that point no one knew it was going to be that way... so many TV actors had flopped after stepping into films... they didn't know how well his bw journey would work out and this decision of hers to continue working was a very practical one at that point.

2) Her staying on the show ensured that Sushant would remain in the good books of Ekta unlike Rajeev and few other actors who had been blacklisted and could not manage to return to the Ekta camp when their BW careers bombed. Rather than quit the show, she negotiated with Ekta for her role in PR as well as future roles. Sushant's professionalism with Ekta + her staying on ensured that he stayed in her good books, he even got roles from her later.

Forget the sacrifices man.. the emotional support she rendered him is a different thing. As Sushant himself said, when people all around him were telling him how tv actors fail in bw, Ankita had total faith in him.. you just have to watch the interview on the last day of PR shooting to see how much blind love and confidence she had in him.. Sushant isn't that close to his family.. Ankita was his biggest support system.. she was happy being in the shadows while he basked away to glory on the red carpet.. HIS successes were always more mportant to her.. she flaunted and celebrated them as her own.. and even Sushant accepted it that she had adjusted a lot to fit into his life in BW.

Each to his own.. but in my eyes.. it certainly was worth a lot..
