But RK's shaadi will be a merger .Married to a young virgin girl from Delhi. 😊😆

@TM- Defensive, but thats the family for you and could be so suffocating. They work hard and are too aggressive about brand building.

Ash is a bad actor but she worked on becoming a personality.Good for her . Married into a prestigious and famous family and this is part of the baggage. This marriage gets them insane brand endorsement, media intrusion is part of their game plan to keep it going. Meh.

Overall, society is very sexist cannot handle a woman earning more or more famous than the guy. But if a lesser known girl marries a more famous guy, she is the gold digger , social climber. Instant judgement.

I know it does. But isn't forum consist mostly of youngsters. Living abroad & Urban cities. Bizarre if they also have such mentality in spite of living in liberal environment.

For all other issues, forum has pretty forward mindset. Kangu gets support for nothing remotely related to feminism. So shouldn't Ash-Abhi be supported too by resident feminists in this case?

And I think AB Jr. have been fine till recently. Check HNY promotions. I enjoyed him in CNWK the most. These constant bullshit of less successful has bogged him down. The guy was fine but our rigid society & stupid journalism didn't let him be one.

Let me make it clear that I don't believe it in, but was simply mentioning as to why the topic is brought up again and again (forum politics).

It never bothered me before that Abhi was the "least successful" than his wife and it never will. But you make a great point that before all those comparisons had intensified, Abhi was doing just fine. Seems that the pressure has gotten to him unfortunately because he is certainly bogged down

When did this happen? And well done if you did it 👏
You would have always ended up trying to prove that you respect your hubby and your high qualification is no big deal !! Shit life. And I have seen rich men, who have more qualified wives, trying to put her down coz of their own lack of confidence !!

Remember one thing, no matter what they say on internet about equality and other stuff, in real life, its hard to be a happy couple if your husband is less successful than you. Period.

Oh let him marry anyone..So long as we don get to read about it every other day, am fine with it 😆 Honestly i get that most celebs seem to use their relationship to stay in the news and 9 out of 10 are probably faking it but boy, we all seem to measure things based on how successful each of them are..I was one of them too..I never got why RF would marry someone like Mirka..Its a different thing i still hate her 😆 But thats what makes him happy..Not everything is about success and money 😆

I've never seen either but those films were hyped up big time before the release, so imagine the reaction when everyone realized that guy in the Tamil movie did much better than Abhi, despite the presence of the 'sensational' Abhi-Aish jodi in the Hindi version

Raavan was a one of those downward turning points in Abhi's career

Though the one that I finally did say Qubul hai today, I know nothing about.. But at least he is at par with me in terms of education😆

Yep. Like how celebrity wives are called worst names many times.

But still Abhi takes the cake in this dept. And other times he is hailed coz he doesn't mind his wife being more famous. But no one would say, Anu is great coz she doesn't mind Virat being more successful. Coz that's norm. Reverse is not.

PS - moreover. Ash is not so very successful recently. Her movies are failing. 😆 but that's for another debate.

Must you mention Mirka..😭

Ash is having a good life. Her husband is decent by apparent industry stds , she has a strong bond with her family.Does her own thing and a brand name family. And is it too hard to imagine love between them?😆 Woman has freedom, respect and love.Success too.And media buzz 😆

You are comparing two very different things here...Kangu and Abhi-Ash are poles apart issues. Abhi Ash is not a feminist issue at all.

Its all about condesending Bachchans - specially Abhi-Ash try to put out "oh so happy and sanskari" face all the time. They try to act holier than thou, that's why forum hates them.
Add Abhi getting millions of chances and not showing any imporvement to the list...
