Maybe Indian laws are very lax but here non family members have to have written permission from parents to travel outside the country with minors. I have already admitted I do not know Indias laws. In my country minors must be accompanied by a legal guardian or have signed permission from a legal guardian. In fact to travel to and from some countries with an American passport with a single parent you must have signed notarized permission from the parent not going. I find it difficult to believe an Indian parent could not have sued a filmmaker for putting his underage daughter in a film like Gangster.
