the irony is emraan himelf did a film on match fixing with Sonal Chauhan, where azharuddin is shown to fix the games, however he himself scores runs in those very matches, as Emraan's bookie character justifies it saying that captain hai, thoda to dikhane keliye run karna padega na, aur istara se who yeh bhi dekhega ki team winning runs na bana paye...

i am open to believing he isn't however i have a few questions, why did the court say there is lack of evidence and freed him? why did he make great runs in the matches he supposedly fixed? apparently he wasn't even the captain for the matches he was accused of fixing how does that work? why did Kapil dev support him? if the movie was made to white wash his image then why did they show him having an affair with a woman who was quite reluctant to be with a married man yet he continues to approach her? thats not white washing is it??😕

It was Hansie Cronie who accepted that he did fixing he took the name of Azharuddin
