i dont know after watching the movie i felt, may be he was trapped... for a moment he accepted for fixing but then he felt it was wrong and came out... but that weak moment gave him a tag of fixer

Making movies is a nice way to show that they are actually very good people.

Even in Sanjay Dutt biopic they will show he was not involved in any of it.
I am not against Dutt, in fact I am happy that he at least served his jail term.

No idea if Azharuddin was trapped or not but movies made on them will ultimately show them as heroes.

movie really portrayed him very good... i felt bad for him throughout the movie.. i had forgotten him long back, since i was a kid when he played... but started watching youtube videos to see his centuries in first 3 matches he played

no...Azhar had confessed that he had fixed matches and it was video recorded...

CBI had a detailed report on this. And a little research about Azhar and Ajay Sharma would be fine guess to show his connection with underworld .

Azhar contested elections on a political party's ticket ( won too, I think), has been making appearance. Yup, still people will buy he is trapped. Mongia , Ajay Sharma lost way more than him. He got away pretty decently.

"Trap" is a nice term .Obviously the movie will portrayal him nicely because that sells and he gave the approval. Movie make Dawood seem misunderstood and glamourized leader.

Next will be how "Sanjay Dutt" was trapped.

na. they can show his love story and WC. they also had ego issues within the team. there is so much masala if they go for his biopic. Shastri, Gavaskar- none of them liked him much.

Azhar was one of the best players Indian team had and one of the most successful captain.
Sachi, Dravid, Ganguly, Ajay Jadeja, Azharuddin, Kumble whatta team we had.

People lost a lot of hopes after the match fixing saga of Azhar & Jadeja.
