If Raees has to do well then it needs to release on holiday

Take risk and release it on Eid

If product is good (legit good and not Fan type upar upar sa good) then people will go and watch irrespective what

2 Mistakes of SRK.

1) Preponing Dilwale (It was actually supposed to hit screen by 25th Dec, not 18th).

2) Postponing Raees for so long. (First it kills the buzz it generated. Second, if the budget of the movie is around 100 crores, a finished product in the box for 9 months means a loss of 10 Crore straight),

A SRK or salman khan film is made on a 100-150cr budget and even if they earn 200cr attain a hit tag everybody says it underperformed coz the fans and stars themselves want to break records not just gaining Hit tag

I think even with SRK vs Hrithik, Hrithik will do better. He's no Salman or Aamir, but he DEFINITELY attracts a large amount of audience for his films. SRK should just forget about these holidays and release it on a weekend with a smaller film...unless of course Raees is poorly made. Then I see why he's trying so hard to get a holiday
