I don't know if she's staying because she has invested a lot of time and energy in their marriage or if it's because she thinks that her husband must be considered like some kind of God but it's sad really to end up having her life revolving around a man who is known to cheat and be violent. She can't even say that she's staying for the kids as they are now grow ups.

I wonder if maybe she's scared of having to rebuilt a life for herself or if she fought her family to marry him thus she thinks she has to bear with it...

I don't feel sorry for her, it is her marriage and she chooses to stay in it. If I condemn her for staying I have to condemn Hillary Clinton too and she is as far from a doormat as I can think of. And my most favorite actress of all, Kajol. And Jaya Bachchan. I do not feel sorry for any of them, they are not brainwashed, they choose to stay.
