Yeah I have heard this that you pay a lot of money, invest of stuff and get citizenship. Don't know the rules though.

P.S. His dual citizenship jaap is hogwash, India does not permit it. Some media publication should call him out on this citizenship thing quite frankly.

I am not sure but I think you dont have to actually live in a country to become its citizen. Like some countries you need to invest a certain amount there and become a citizen. If I am not wrong Akki has business interests in Canada and Canada has this provision.

In some countries they give citizenship to highly talented people-scientists, artists etc. India also has this provision and thats how Adnan Sami got Indian citizenship. Akshay could have got it under the same category as he is an actor.
