The same thing happened with Suzzane. Hrithik (or his PR) published article about her and Arjun Rampal's alleged affair left, right and center during the time they were separated and going through divorce. He was afraid his true face will come out, so made Suzzane as the scapegoat.
Arjun tried to negate all the rumours but it got drowned under all the speculations.
Hrithik also tried to show Suzzanne in bad light through reports stating how she bad mouthed her in-laws and asked for 400 cr alimony(which wasn't true, she didn't took a penny).
But in all this Suzzane kept quite. She didn't even talked about his cheating nature which is known by all. No doubt she was drawn to drugs living with a narcissist and cheater.
Now people know Suzzane as a junkie who cheated on his husband with his friend's husband while Hrithik as the poor devoted husband whose only love was Suzzane(until nowš).
