Ranveer & Sonakshi for Lootera.. Imo it was the best work done by a pair in a bw film in recent times, even better than what Ranbir and PC did in Barfi.. Lootera had the most glowing reviews from critics and yet that didnt reflect in the award ceremonies which completely ignored Lootera even in critics categories.. I honestly have no idea whats so great about overrated performances of Farhan in BMB and Deepika in RL.. DP was actually better in YJHD/CE than RL.. Ranveer's act in RL was also much better and award worthy than Farhan's act..

Shahid for Kaminey.. It was unfortunately a year of a few strong performances and as much as I hate Amitabh, his performance of Auro was brilliant.. However felt that he should have gotten the critics and Shahid should have been awarded the popular..

Anushka for Band Bajaa Baaraat.. She won the IIFA and some other awards for it but missed out the FF only because JP awarded his favourite actress for an undeserving act.. In my opinion none of the awards Kajol has gotten is deserving..

Aish was good in Jodha Akbar but I feel PC deserved the award for Fashion..

Randeep Hooda not awarded for Highway.. He deserved the critics award more than Alia.. They could have created a tie and awarded both Mishra and Hooda..

Deepak/Irrfan/Nawaz these 3 were all much superior performers than Anil and yet went empty handed because of biasedness of jury and JP.. Totally unfair!!

Kangy deserved the BA for TWMR as well as DP in Piku.. Im still glad they gave her critics but it should have been the other way round..

Rani in Mardaani, Sri in EV, PC in Barfi are all unfortunately ignored because the year had equally good performances chipped in by others.. Although I honestly felt sad PC was robbed.. She was amazing as Jhilmil infact I always say this, that she was the best part of Barfi..

why just actors-I would say directors/singers/music directors specially RDB deserved an award for almost all his movies.Best of films sometimes are totally sidelined thanks to bollywood politics😒

I keep seeing Rani in Mardaani, she was so overrated in the movie and lack intensity in a few scenes. Im surprised she even got nominated.

basically you listed 7 khoon maaf in 2012 (it came in 2011 but awarded next year in 2012) but then you mention lootera in 2013..shouldn't it be barfi (released in 2012 and awarded in 2013) and lootera under 2014 (released in 2013 and awarded in 2014)..

i precisely meant that..that you missed a year by mistake

but it is okay..lol

Yes PC and Sri were robbed in 2012 but VB was equally brilliant in an amazing film so I don't really mind. It is not like they lost to an incompetent actress!
That year was brilliant with women shining with brilliant performences! What a contrast to overrated Pikus and Dattos!
No wonder even today VB, PC, Sri are >>>>>>>>>>>>>> the current brigade of actresses!

PC in Barfi is the obvious choice. She was overlooked may be because Barfi was perceived as Ranbir Kapoor film and Kahani as a motion picture had a upper hand over Barfi in terms of originality, drama, thriller element and up'woman'ship

Aamir Khan was certainly robbed off Rangeela and Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar to more popular movies. Sarfarosh too but I guess by then he stopped attending award ceremonies to make sense he didn't got one.

2012 was just badluck for the ladies nominated alongside Vidya in kahaani

NO ONE WAS ROBBED.

Richa won the critics award and it was well deserved(ff)

Also this year piku n tanu were well deserved

Those who deserved in 2015

Irrfan in talwar who lost to Big B . I think it was a small margin ( only talking about ff)

In 2014 Randeep losing to sanjay m . haven't seen ankhon Dekhi but I wonder was it better than randeep in highway

In 2013 Sonakshi for lootera .she shud have won in critics category

2012 was just the most amazing year for audience and fraternity and bad year for all actress(each and every one gave their career best and that also in same year)

How much as I feel Priyanka was robbed for Barfi (there is CRITICS) and also Sridevi, Vidya was phenomenal in Kahaani and she did deserve to win popular award!

All other performance after that year looks like a joke to me (Baring Datto/Tanu)

Sonakshi also not winning critics award was HUGE SHAME! She was amazing in Lootera

FF is nuts must say... rarely has there been a year when every winner is justified!

Kajol winning for MNIK is HUGE JOKE... There was Anushka there with her fantastic performance BUT NO!

No wonder I can ever suck up to that Pillia!
