The film was so well received by the critics and the performances were far far better than the so called super hit films of that year.

Awards in India have 0 credibility so i don't care who wins what.

Veer & Sona for Lootera. Those were sublime performances & giving it to DP for CE over Sona which was a CRAP-FEST & in which she acted horribly, was PATHETIC to say the least!!! Infact Lootera's complete dismissal just made me so disappointed & angry! No wonder directors don't make good movies but sell themselves out. 😡 🤢

Ranveer was quite weak in Lootera, and Irfan and Nimrat not winning for Lunch box was a bigger crime IMO.

@TL: I didn't think Veer was weak at all. Infact he was better there than even BM. Irfan would never have won in the main best actor award though yes, both losing out is a huge disappointment!! At least they're both highly appreciated in HW & Nimrat got Homeland & now Peaky Blunders because of LunchBox, essentially.
