He was seen sitting courtside at a basketball game at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California, on Tuesday evening.

But Novak Djokovic was not content with sampling one LA pursuit as once the final whistle blew at the match between the Orlando Magic and the Los Angeles Lakers, he hotfooted it to celebrity haunt - The Nice Guy.

The world number one tennis player appeared to have had a great night as he was pictured exiting the bar - popular among LA's A-lister set - in the dark hours of the evening with Bollywood star Deepika Padukone.

Novak, 28, traded in his tennis whites for co-ordinated denim separates and he looked suitably styled for the low-key evening.

He sported slim-fitting jeans and a darker shade shirt which he wore unbuttoned, exposing his plain white T-shirt.

The sportsman topped off his off-court look with a pair of chunky-sole desert boots which were rendered in a soft grey suede.

While he kept it casual, she appeared to have made more of an effort in sartorial terms, favouring a timeless monochrome colour theme.

Deepika teamed her smart one-piece with a black tailored cape-coat and a pair of towering stiletto sandals which further heightened her willowy frame.

Deepika is one of the biggest Bollywood stars of her generation, and is reportedly one of the highest-paid Indian stars of the moment.

Although she's also made a name for herself as a model, it's her acting career that has cemented her place in the industry.

Her major breakthrough in 2007 in Om Shanti Om, in which she appeared opposite Shah Rukh Khan and for which she won a Best Female Debut prize at the Filmfare Awards, the biggest movie awards ceremony in the Hindi film industry.

She has won two other Filmfare Awards over her decade-long career, and is also known for her beauty and modelling prowess in India, where she lives in Bangalore.

She has recently been at the centre of romance rumours, with plenty of speculation abounding that she is dating Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh.

Novak married his childhood sweetheart Jelena Risti in July 2014 and they have a 17-month-old son named Stefan.

The couple - who met in high school - recently celebrated Valentine's Day together with the tennis ace posting a sweet tribute to his spouse on his Twitter page.

Novak and were depicted posing in a selfie, taken outside and animal enclosure, which was captioned: 'Love is a powerful source of energy, motivation and inspiration. Love yourself, your family&friends, love your life!'
