Much ado about nothing. Why is the Daily Mail supposed to know who Deepika is?

This is in similar vein with people trending Who is Sachin Tendulkar to mock Sharapova again now that she admitted to failing the drug test. Why is she supposed to know who Sachin is? Cricket is only played in like 10 countries.
