@MEB PC definitely has an accent - wouldn't recognize it as Indian if I didn't know it was. But Americans can hear a subtle " unamericanism" in her speech intermittently. I say Americans because have had this conversation with many people so I know it's not just me.

Katrina can't go to Hollywood, but she can certainly "come" over there. 😉

@IALB: Hm no don't agree that she has an Indian accent, Appu type or not. You must've an American accent that's why


@Nova: Ya that's what I thought too!! An American friend told me that "khaaki" was a word to distinguish if someone is American or can fake the accent very well because there's a very American pronounciation of the word - "kaa-kee" ... Yes her decade in Mumbai was to explain her accent away. I've noticed how she slips in & out of her Quantico accent when she's in America but I wonder why people make fun of her--- We all modify our accents when talking to foreigners or American/British born people. When I talk to my family in the UK, my accent is very English... And a bit of an American tinge (or what I think is American lol) enters my voice when I talk to an American... Thats bound to happen in any case!! But she certainly has an accent & it's madly obvious since Miss India. The first time I ever heard her speak, I was very taken aback by her voice! It was so seductive, low & sexy--- And she spoke much better than I anticipated!

Yeah, I wldnt say Indian either, she different from what I've heard from Indian eccent so far.
