Deepika Padukone too is gearing up for her Hollywood debut with Vin Diesel and we are super excited about that. At a recent event whenSonakshi Sinha was asked about this trend of our actresses crossing over to the West, she said:

Except for Priyanka, not many people have managed to break out in the West in a big way because I don't feel they write great roles for Indian actors. But then again, having said that, Priyanka has broken all the barriers and is doing fantastic!

Yes, she can talk as she is making full use of all the roles that actually call for acting instead of glamor in BW. 🤔

Yeah, no, till she does not use them, STFU about HW. Being a starkid gives her a hand here, HW there is no Bhai or Dabang, only mehanath that too as an immigrant minority so STFU and use opportunities in BW first. HW is not rolling out the red carpet any time soon.

well, she does have a point. And this doesn't just go for indian actors, almost all people of color don't have good roles written for them. Even black people get little acknowledgment...that's why some people are boycotting the oscars this year.

It's just funny that of all people, Sonakshi Sinha is the saying this...she hasn't done any great roles herself in bollywood so 🤔
