why need to compare Piku & Neerja. Piku not action movie. It totally sweet, slow and out of box movie.
Why not compare Neerja & Queen as I saw one topic said Neerja goes to Queen way.
Let see how Kangana & Sonam fans compare them. I am sure both will try the best to use very very sweet word to avoid any argument, so, when come to DP, both can conjoint again to brought down DP. Walaal aaa😆😆😆😆😆

any time Deepika in piku , a non glamarous non run in the mil role
she held herself against both AB and irfan , not even a single wrong note
even in BM she might have missed here and there but not in piku
a lead heroine who is in peak of here carrier and who is known for beauty more than acting. taking up piku and then making it work , amazing

that does not mean sonam in niraja was not good .
she was good. you started comparison hence you got it 😆

I couldn't figure out what was so special in Piku?? It took me 3 days to finish the movie on my computer screen at the comfort of my home (and my cousin left it midway) spare me the horror how could someone even stand that nonsense in a theatre 😕

I still haven't seen Piku!!!!!!
But although I was all praise for Sonam after watching Neerja this week, I don't think she's near Deepu's level ...yet.

That's a toughie. I'll go with Sonam. Neerja reading the proposal letter while munching on the chocolate cookie tugged at my heartstrings much more than DP's Piku.

Would Piku have worked commercially if it released today?

Back in the 2010s, all kinds of movies co-existed on the big screen. In fact, in 2012, there was a surfeit of mid-budget, content-driven films...
