Yes crime petrol is very much depressing,I avoid watching it.But then that's the truth in most cases na the culprits do'nt get punished in most cases. I avoid watching any crime show actually, they make me feel scared,and makes me doult every other person.

I even forgot what happened in the movie. It's so weird, sometimes I forget movies and scenes just a couple of hours after I'm done watching it. 😕

This happens with me a lot too 😆 I completely forgot the ending of luck by chance , which I loved btw , someone was discussing the film in the forum and I was completely blank later on someone mentioned it I remembered lol...

Yet to watch Highway, has it been aired on tv?

Unfortunately this is not uncommon in cases of molestation. It's what everyone else has already said. "What will people say?" Even Veera's father wasn't any better. At the very end after everything comes out he tells her "let's be sensible" trying to sort of sweep the whole thing under the rug.

This aspect (parents trying to keep it hush) might be more common in eastern societies but it happens here in the west as well. Unfortunately society in general hasn't learned not to stigmatize the victim. So some people are genuinely afraid of how society will precieve them. Though in cases where the abuser is a relative or a family friend I suspect there is a certain degree of guilt as well, and not wanting everyone to know that it happened to your child right under your nose. It's a shame because molestation is only and only the molester's fault.

Because that is the prevalent mentality in Middle Eastern contries and the Indian subcontinent. It's disgusting how they hush up anything that might bring "shame" to their families even at the cost of their own child's destruction.

On another note, I still love the Rishtey episode of Highway much more than Highway the movie. Kartika Rane >>>>> Alia but Randeep = Abhisekh Srivastava.

I even forget the sequence of events, whereas my friends remember everything so perfectly. The other day I was watching Kahaani on TV and I felt as if I was watching it for the first time. Everything was so new, except for the climax twist. 😆
