^ I think she meant that they did the same things as & were as brave as, Neerja. I don't think she meant a particular incident. Just that all were equally brave & deserved equal respect & claps.

But it is Neerja who died, so obviously people feel sadder for her life lost though ofcourse they all were amazing ladies.

So sherene pavan was also used as human shield
Also Flight attendants throwed away american passports
Sunshine and sherene gave testimony in Us court of justice too

Hmm i see from where they are coming now
Given that they go through same ordeal and showed similar level of courage , everyone now know neerja name and all others are completly forgotten.
I guess they have reason to be salty

This is by the United States department of justice.
Neerja is mentioned here.

In the movie, they showed an air hostess who was treated badly by the terrorists. I think it's her. Those terrorists treated all the crew members very badly and 20 others were killed brutally along with Neerja. Everyone went through hell and tried their best to shield and escape from the situation. I can't even imagine how horrifying it must have been.

But again, Neerja was the first to alert about hijack to the pilots, hiding US passports, opening the exit door and took the bullets shielding the kids. Her presence of mind saved lives. The movie was based only on Neerja, only her background story was shown and her bravery was applauded.

I don't think she is jealous or is undermining Neerja's bravery... Maybe she means that contribution of others should also have been shown.. I mean the movie showed the whole hijack so other ppl part of the ordeal should have been shown as well.. not altogether wrong

One of the passengers mentioned this is not true, but the rest seems accurate. If you check US justice document and type Neerja in search you will read about a mother who shielded her daughter from the bullets.

It says this:
Neerja Bhanot: Ms. Bhanot was the senior purser on board Pan Am flight 73. She was an Indian citizen who was also employed as a model. Her parents lived in Bombay, where her father was a journalist. She had two older brothers. She had been working for Pan Am for approximately 10 months at the time of the hijacking. She was assigned to the first class cabin of the aircraft. She helped to warn the cockpit crew of the hijacking, thereby enabling them to escape before defendant Safarini could get to the cockpit. During the 16 hours of the hijacking, Ms. Bhanot was responsible for making announcements to the passengers as authorized by defendant Safarini and the other hijackers. When the lights went out just before the final assault, Ms. Bhanot ran for the emergency door and activated the inflatable chute. Instead of escaping as one of the first off the aircraft, she remained on board to help others out of the plane. She was shot in the final assault. Although she was taken off the plane alive by her fellow flight attendants, she died shortly afterwards of massive bleeding. Her family received her coffin on September 7, 1986, which would have been her 23rd birthday. Ms. Bhanot was given a prestigious national award posthumously for her bravery on board Pan Am flight 73. Her family also established an award in her name and each year, a new recipient is selected among Indian women who have demonstrated particular courage and achievement. Ms. Bhanot's brother is present in Court today and plans to speak.

Maybe the movie only wanted to focus on Neerja mostly, as they made it for Neerja's family.
The team's effort was shown also but just their names were not said, their background story etc was not shown like Neerja's was.
